CSD demonstrated its ability to spring into action at short notice this month, following a call from the PHC. The hopper dredger doors that service one of PHC’s dredgers had become snagged, resulting in the hopper being unable to dredge the marina and harbours. Work was carried out from inside the hopper, and debris was found to be fouling all six of its metal doors. The team managed to clear all of this within two hours, to which the customer was very grateful and praised our response time.
