Did you know divers no longer require a CSCS card?

Commercial divers with a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved diving qualification no longer require a Construction Skills Certification Scheme(CSCS) card to work within the construction industry.

The HSE has stipulated that the training undergone to become a commercial diver is highly focused on health and safety; it is equal to or exceeds the requirement of CSCS and should be accepted by Civil Engineering and Construction contractors as adequate demonstration of competence.

Further information can be found in the Association of Diving Contractors Information Note 001/2017.
